Looking At the Osho Meditation Technique

Osho was born Chandra Mohan Jain, in India, in 1931. He was known by several names like Acharya Rajneesh, and Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. This man was a teacher and mystic and developed a world following for his teachings on many things, including meditation. Although he died in 1990, his works live on today. Here is one of his important Osho meditation techniques.

Dynamic Method

The Dynamic method for meditating comes in five stages. This technique can be performed by yourself of with other people. It is important to remember to keep your eyes closed the entire time and have comfortable clothes on. When you breathe, do it as fast as possible.

The First Stage

Stand with feet shoulder width apart and bring the arms up and down as if you are dancing. Think of it as dancing without moving the feet. Keep your mouth closed and only breathe through your nose, the entire time. Remember to breathe fast, move your arms, and bend at the knees in a natural fashion. Do this for ten minutes.

The Second Stage

This is called the explosion stage. Let yourself go and do whatever you wish on a primitive level. If you need to scream or cry, do so. Get into any position that you desire, and throw a fit, if it feels good. This lasts for ten minutes.

The Third Stage

Raise your arms and lock the knees in place. Jump up and down and every time your feet hit the floor say "Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!". Do this very vigorously, so that it exhausts you. This stage lasts for ten minutes.

The Fourth Stage

The first three stages are preparation for Stage Four. After the ten minutes of the third stage, you freeze. Everything comes to a screeching halt. Try not to cough, sneeze, or do anything for the next fifteen minutes. Become totally aware of everything that is happening.

The Fifth Stage

The final stage involves fifteen minutes of dance. You can dance any steps that you like, but make it a dance of celebration. Give thanks for all of the good things that are in your life. Feel the happiness and elation, and try to use that all throughout the day.

Summary

A very popular Osho meditation is the Dynamic method. It is in five stages and helps you get in touch with your true feelings and desires. You will be getting a lot of exercise and expressing yourself on a physical and primitive level. This can be a good way to vent frustration and feel good about yourself. You can buy the music for the Dynamic Meditation online, as it will make the process much easier and more enjoyable.
